Biography

Amutheezan Sivagnanam is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Houston, where his research sits at the intersection of reinforcement learning, combinatorial optimisation, and intelligent transportation systems.

He earned his Ph.D. in Informatics from The Pennsylvania State University (2025), where he was a member of the Applied Artificial Intelligence Lab. He also holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Houston (2022) and a B.Sc. from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka (2017).
